| Performing: | "You Can Go Home Again" Kathryn Allyn is a lover of the Great Lyric; she'll journey from those clever lyrics of the song'n'dance men of the WWII years all the way to the poet singer-songwriters of the protest years. Influenced by Jo Stafford and Joni Mitchell, she's embarked upon a Quixotic quest to "leave no lyric behind". The songs, from Armed Forces Radio to the Summer of Love, from Broadway to the Wild West, are beautifully re-imagined by noted Jazz Pianist Sheldon Forrest. |
